Child abuse prevention effort lauds the Period of Purple Crying

GHS Employees Raise More Than $27,000 to “Pave the Way” in Support of Community Health

OXFORD, NC (October 9, 2009) – Granville Health System (GHS) announced the organization’s employees raised more than $27,000 through the “Paving the Way” employee giving campaign. The funds raised will benefit the Granville Health System Foundation and a portion of the money will be used to construct a brick walkway leading to the entrance of the new Granville Medical Center Emergency Department. GHS Sponsors the 2009 Granville County Habitat for Humanity Home

OXFORD, NC (July 30, 2009) – Granville Health System (GHS) announced the organization has signed on as a corporate sponsor of the 2009 Granville County Habitat for Humanity home, being built near downtown Oxford later this year.
Granville County HFH is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing. The houses then are sold to those in need at no profit and with no interest charged.

GHS Employees "Pave the Way" in Support of Community Health

 

OXFORD, NC (July 9, 2009) – Granville Health System (GHS) announced the organization is conducting an employee giving campaign from July 13 to August 14. The campaign, “Paving the Way,” will benefit the Granville Health System Foundation and a portion of the money raised will be used to construct a brick walkway leading to the entrance of the new GHS Emergency Department. Employees who sponsor a brick for the walkway may have their name, or a name of their choosing, imprinted on the brick. The new construction is slated to begin in 2010.  More...
