Pathology

Pathologists study the causes and nature of disease, using knowledge gained from laboratory application of biologic, chemical and physical sciences.  Samples of body tissue, cells and fluids are evaluated microscopically to diagnose the presence of disease. Our pathologist is also responsible for the supervision and maintenance of our blood supply and patient-recipient safety.
